Pattern
Before committing to a solution, describe the situation from several genuinely different points of view. Change the goal, the scale, the assumed constraint, or the person whose needs are foregrounded.
Example
Instead of asking “How do I finish this perfect first draft?”, ask “What rough material would make tomorrow's editing easier?”
